Parvin State Park is just a couple dozen miles away. Centered around a big lake, there’s a hiking trail around the water, and several beaches and fishing ramp. It was a nice summer morning, and we even took Milo the Dog along, since he’s pretty well behaved on the leash. We finished up around noon after the three-mile hike, and then went home to recuperate.
