Welcome to the somewhat slightly revamped LensFlair photo blog. This blog is simply a way for me to present my photos and travel diaries online for the few interested people who prove the point that many have too much time on their hands.

Click on a menu item to navigate ’round in the soup.  Any drop-down menu item can be clicked to view. There are three main categories:

Vacation Diaries are daily journals of longer trips – more than just a weekender.  Emphasis is on the photography during the trip.There are road-trip shots as well, taken from the dash of the car or RV.

Photo Essays are for galleries of static locations, where the journey itself is of little or no consequence, or more likely, I just didn’t take any pictures out the windshield.

Short Travels are just that – weekenders, with just three or at most four daily logs, also with road-trip images.

I’m slowly converting the pages with embedded large photos over to thumbnail galleries, so bear with me on that process.

As a side note, the images on the site will display in ‘slideshow’ gallery where you can scroll forwards and backwards through the particular gallery. The site is not overtly designed for mobile users. Sorry…

Also, this is not a ‘daily diary’ type of blog, there’s not going to be an entry every day, and there will not be a lot of text, if any, that’s not associated with some sort of journey or photo essay.
