Late in May, we took a sunny Sunday morning to travel over to Wilmington, and the highway out towards Chester County, PA. We pulled into a small park along Route 52, and explored around the hills and vales, and took a walk along a small creek. This is Valley Garden Park.
After touring this park we headed north-west a bit more, crossing over the Hoopes Reservoir, and then found the Ashland Nature Preserve, where we parked and took a mile-long hike along the banks of the Brandywine Creek.
All in all , a VERY GREEN and lush couple of hours.
