In January of 2015, Mom was invited to accompany her similarly-aged gal-pal Eva on a round-the-world cruise. How could she resist? Early in January, they flew from Orlando to LAX to board the Pacific Princess, a relatively small and cozy liner that had seen some use. Their itinerary would take them westward across the Pacific to Hawaii, south across the equator to Western Samoa, then continuing south to New Zealand, Australia and Malaysia, then on to Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Viet Nam, India, Oman, Dubai, the Suez, the eastern Med, Rome, French Riviera, Portugal, the Azores, across the Atlantic to Bermuda, and then off at Fort Lauderdale, after over 90 days of cruising. They didn’t take the last leg of the cruise through the Caribbean, the Canal, and then back north along the west of Mexico to LA.
All I’ve done here is take the daily log of photos that Mom took, clean them up and straighten them a bit, and put into slideshow galleries. I can’t offer much commentary.
