got some really nice shots of a ring-neck today. he came in within 30 feet or so, which is unusual, and fortunately, i was there to catch a few shots... you can see the ring these ducks get their name from in these shots, but most of the time, the ring isn't visible. even got a bit of the purple iridescence on his li'l head!
