Equipment question
« on: September 15, 2012, 06:39:34 AM »

A friend of mine gave me her dad's camera bag because she is interested in selling all of it if it is worth anything.
It's fairly old stuff, and the lenses were all in the bag without covers or caps...but that aside, I'll list some of the stuff. Maybe someone knows if it is worth sending any time with it?

Canon TLb body
Minolta Maxxum 3xi body

Maxxum AF70-210mm 1:4(32)
Miida f 75-205mm 62
Maxxum AF 35-70mm 1:4(22)
Sigma UC zoom 28-70mm 1:3.5-4.5
Prospec f28mm (52) 1:2.8
Canon FD 50mm 1:1.8 SC
Prospec auto 2x telecom renter C/FD
Vivitar auto flash
A cord of some sort, and a wires thing that I know I should know what it is, but I don't.
I'll post a pic later

Is it all crap?

You might find a Canon film camera user interested in the 50mm FD lens. For the rest of the stuff, the best way to establish value is to look for matching items on eBay - for instance, there's a TLb and a 50mm FD lens for sale there right now, Buy It Now at $39.92.  There are TLb cameras on for between .99 cents and $75.00 which is of course, extremely not useful. I'd look at SALES. ("What's it worth?") to get an idea.

 :)
The cord and wires thingy, sounds like it could be the remote shutter cable.
